Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I we review Movies, Create Podcasts, and share our love of movies with you! Enjoy

Mission Imposible: Rogue Nation

Tom Cruise takes the Mission Impossible formula and almost beat for beat recreates the movie but Ill be damned if I didn’t love this film just as much as all the others.

Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation has Ethan Hunt once again disavowed from the government leading this team at the IMF to save the world from a threat we didn’t even know existed. The syndicate is a rumor and a myth until Ethan Hunt exposes them. This film has similar plot points as the franchise that paved its way but with the stunts continuing to get bigger and more dangerous I found myself sucked into all the twists and turns. Ethan plays the cat and mouse game better then any agent and although his methods are reckless he is an unstoppable force.

Like all Mission Impossible films this focuses on two key points, giving you enough twists to keep your interest and larger then life action sequences. The one thing that Mission Impossible can deliver that no other action franchise can is that Tom Cruise, arguably the biggest action star in Hollywood, does all of his own stunts. It gives the film a type of realism that cannot be duplicated. Anyone who has seen this franchise of films will probably be able to guess plot points before they hit and wont be surprised when twists happen, but that is my only criticism. The acting was great, the sets were breathtaking, and the action scenes are second to none in this genre.

My final take is that fans will know this movie from back to front but still enjoy it and for people new to the franchise this is one of the best yet!

My Ranting: See in Theaters!!
